WHAT: SVTOA @ Cinema Detroit for Mustang Documentary

EVENT INFO: “Demon on Wheels” – a new film about an old drag racer and his restoration of the 1968 Mustang from his misspent youth – rolls into Detroit for a week-long run starting Friday, Aug. 7 at Cinema Detroit and we worked a special offer with the producers for club members. The first 100 paid attendees who show their SVTOA, Ford or Mustang club membership card upon entering the theater will get an 11x17-inch version of the color “Demon On Wheels” movie poster ABSOLUTELY FREE! (Sorry, only ONE per customer, while supply lasts). TICKETS NOW ON SALE ABOVE! Talk about a cool, exclusive Mustang collectible! Want an extra cool factor? Cinema Detroit is located in a reclaimed Detroit Public School building in the city’s old Midtown area. Once known as the Burton International School, the eclectic elementary school-turned-theater retains its original brick walls, wood floors, period light fixtures and kiddie-scaled marble bathrooms. Two screening rooms, the “Auditorium Theater” and the “Café Theater” occupy what was once the school’s auditorium and cafeteria, and there’s even an historic display of projection cameras in the main lobby. It’s a movie experience like no other in the very heart of Detroit that you won’t want to miss!
Thursday, August 13th -- Roush Museum Tour & ShowWHEN: 5:00 p.m. -- 8:00 p.m.
WHAT: SVTOA @ Roush Automotive Collection Open House & Cruise-In
WHERE: 11851 Market St., Livonia, MI 48150
EVENT INFO: This Open House event features a Car Cruise-in, Door Prize Drawings, First-in-Line Drawing, Roush Performance Tour, ROUSH Engine Build Demonstration, and race driver autograph session. SVTOA members are invited to bring their SVT vehicle for display in the Roush parking lot and all along Market Street. Visit the Door Prize Table to enter the "First-in-Line" Drawing. No purchase necessary. Limit one entry per person. Must be 18
years or older to enter. One lucky person will win!
Friday, August 14th -- Waterford Hills Road Racing
WHEN: 7:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m.
WHAT: SVTOA @ 2015 Roush Open Track Day
WHERE: Oakland County Sportmen's Club

COST: $160 for SVTOA members (IF register online by Aug. 12) or $200 (if register day of event)
EVENT INFO: SVTOA members can join the Roush Road Crew for a Full Track Day with lunch. Events start at 7:00 a.m. for registration and tech inspections, with 9:30 a.m. driver's meeting and novice instruction. Vehicles go on course @ 10:30 a.m., Lunch is @ 12:30 and track is secured at 5:00 p.m. Plan on 5 run groups made up of 16 drivers, and each group is scheduled to get 4 sessions during the day. Each session will be 15 to 20 minutes long. Drivers are split up into groups based on experience. Vehicles must pass a basic safety inspection (Contact track about restrictions on convertibles and trucks.) Track recommends using vehicles with manual transmissions, but no special tires are required. A SNELL-rated helmet that’s 2000 or newer is required. (Rental helmets are available at the track if you don't have one.)

WHAT: SVTOA Cruise to Woodward from Historic Ford Piquette Plant
WHERE: Ford Piquette Avenue Plant

EVENT INFO: Woodward Dream Cruise kick-off event in partnership with "CruisN The D" and "Motor City Horse Power" at Detroit's most historic Ford
landmark. Doughnuts and coffee will be served at Piquette, sponsored by Hagerty Insurance. "Art Wear Detroit" will be featuring some of their latest
apparel designed by regional artists. At 10:30 a.m., SVTOA member vehicles will join classic cars to begin parade to Woodward Avenue, with a police
escort, then circle through historic Palmer Park and continue to the Cruise Route up Woodward Avenue to the annual Dream Cruise.
Saturday, August 15 -- Mustang Alley @ The Woodward Dream CruiseWHEN: 7:00 a.m. -- 6:00 p.m.
WHAT: SVTOA Members Show & Cruise -- COBRAS and MUSTANGS ONLY!
WHERE: Mustang Alley @ Nine Mile Road
600 East 9 Mile Rd, Ferndale, MI 48220
COST: $20 (Paid in cash upon entrance)
EVENT INFO: The 2015 Mustang Alley is open to all model-year Mustangs. Online registration runs through August 14. Entrance gate at 9 Mile & Hilton opens @ 7 a.m., and parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Participants will be allowed to cruise in and out of Mustang Alley; however
you can not reserve your space or park in groups. For safety reasons, when exiting Mustang Alley you must be escorted by a parking attendant. Security will be provided during the event.
Saturday, August 15 -- SVTOA @ The Woodward Dream CruiseWHEN: 8:00 a.m. -- 9:00 p.m.
WHAT: SVTOA & Motor City Marauders on Woodward -- NON-COBRAS ONLY!

EVENT INFO: Sure, Ford has Mustang Alley for SVT Cobras, but what about SVTOA members who own all the other SVT-produced cars and trucks? Exactly! That's why the SVTOA has teamed with the The Motor City Marauders to provide parking for all SVTOA members who bring their SVT vehicle to the Woodward Dream Cruise. The lot is right on Woodward, between 15 Mile and 16 Mile. It's a great location that can comfortably fit 30-35 cars on a first-come, first serve basis. EVENT INFO: This it is – the biggest one-day all-Ford gatherings in the country, right on the Ford Campus where SVT was born! Upon entering you will be directed to park in the SVTOA area. Show vehicles will not be judged but all will be eligible for special VIP awards. The first 1,000 registered vehicles will receive a commemorative goodie bag. Show field opens at 8:00 am. Enter from Rotunda Drive entrance. SVTOA member vehicles are eligible for exclusive "Engineer's Choice" awards, chosen by former SVT engineers and staff, and are announced at the show's Closing Ceremonies.
Admission for spectators is $5.00 for Adults, Children 12-and-Under Free; Spectator Parking Free. Show opens at 8:00 am. (Spectators enter from Oakwood Ave.)
